OK, this may be one of the few times you'll see Nightmare as a move option. Go, useless butterfly Bad typing + bad stats + bad movepool bad Pokemon. Again Butterfree on level 12, Hoppip/Skiploom on 14, or Oddish/Gloom on 16 are your best bets. A sleeping target is hurt by 1/4 max HP per turn. I listed Stun Spore as a tertiary option, as some people swear by Stun for catching. This, in turn, when paired with Compoundeyes, would allow a guaranteed poison move without having to use a TM, as well as make Stun Spore equivalent to Thunder Wave only also being able to. Otherwise Hoppip/Skiploom on 16 and Oddish/Gloom on 17. If Sleep Powder got adjusted to 80, theyd have to adjust Stun Spore and Poisonpowder along with it (odds are Will-o-Wisp also would get this adjustment). It's an easy mistake to make though, since they distribute some 4Kids shows (most notably Yu-Gi-Oh!). Nevertheless Sleep Powder is the other safe option. FUNimation doesn't have a hand in Pokemon's script. Struggle Bug, Stuff Cheeks, Stun Spore, Submission, Substitute, Subzero Slammer, Sucker Punch, Sunny Day, Sunsteel Strike. A Link to the Past (talk) 08:03, Septem(UTC) Well, we COULD assume that since dying and "going away forever" probably aren't easily mistranslated, that it could be perceived that FUNi removed it. A Jigglypuff that has followed Ash and his friends almost always uses Sing whenever it appears. You might want to add a note in the Anime Appearances section that says something similar to "It is popularly believed that in the original Japanese episode, Butterfree died, but this is in fact false." I'd add it myself but I have no idea if your information is valid or not. :) - Dalkaen 12:33, (UTC) In The Ninja Pok-Showdown, during Ash's Gym battle against Koga, Koga's Venomoth put Ash's Pidgeotto to sleep with Sleep Powder after paralyzing it with Stun Spore, forcing Ash to recall the Bird Pokmon and send Charmander out in its place. That was false info that was not actually present in the Japanese version (or any other version), but someone said it was, and it spread like wildfire. Just thought I'd bring this up here: I removed the "information" about Butterfree dying after mating in the anime.
